Mechs vs Minions is a great pick, especially for travel, how many games do we have to carry to the table like a delicate platter or end up with components everywhere…MvM could be thrown around by baggage handlers and not a peice out of place with those great inserts 😂

I would definitely recommend Food Chain Magnate in every category. It's a gateway game because it hooks you in and everyone will have fun from the first play. Strategy, not sure, the internet says it's there. Granted, it's not really a travel game, but it doesn't have to be. It's available everywhere, so you can just pick it up when you get to your destination. It's definitely a party game with all the food and drinks. The theme is amazing. The artwork is beautiful, especially on the map tiles. You really feel like you're an American burger in this game. Would recommend it to everyone👍

I was TOTALLY out to lunch on the gag! 🤣 I thought the travel game suggestions were a bit odd! 🤣 I was expecting little boxes to appear; but then this big orange box the size of Jamie comes out and I'm like – "YOU can fit that into your carry on?" 🤣 I should have known something was up when Jeff said: "And we've played this on the plane." Then Jamie starts to oversell the theme of Crib? I mean – I love a good game of Crib – it's just cards! 🤣 You guys really had me FOOLED!!!

Played Kanban (not EV) last weekend, and man was it easy to get up and running, 2-3 minutes of rules, and the board was basically setup out of the box, took us all of 15 minutes to play, and then we played it 4 more times. Before we got into the 3 hour slog that was Just One.
If you want a quick filler, try Mansions of Madness! And thanks for the bleeps! My and my family’s sensitive ears appreciate it👍

I'm not super familiar with Kanban so I didn't catch on at first, but at Root my eyes narrowed. Nice, had me going for a minute, I'm impressed there weren't more bloopers!

Root question for ya! Does it play well with 2 players or not? I'm so confused by the BGG score. A whopping 390 people said Not Recommended at 2 players, but 229 said Yes Recommended at 2 players. You're the experts on this game – whatcha think?
