I really enjoy your content. Thanks for all you all do! I know this may not be the proper place to post this, but what happened to the watch it played NEWS segment. I really enjoyed it.
Loved it, thx so much!
Fractured Sky and The Hunt are some bangers, glad to see them featured here!! Great video! – G
Zombie Kidz has been on my list to get and play with my kids when they're a little older, which is sooner now than it used to be!I also wanna play Lorcana, seems like it would also be a fun game with kids when they're older to s̶u̶c̶k̶ t̶h̶e̶m̶ i̶n̶t̶o̶ introduce them to TTG's
So glad you pointed out the other countries taking part in D-Day.
🇺🇸
We take Drop It to every convention because it is such a crowd pleaser! So glad it is being recognised here!!
D-Day at Omaha Beach focuses on the US forces since they were the ones that landed at Omaha. The landing at Omaha has probably gotten more historical attention since it is considered the bloodiest of all the landings. On D-Day, US forces were responsible for landing at Omaha and Utah, British forces landed at Gold and Sword, and Canadian forces landed at Juno. So, I don't think the game is minimizing the other allied forces that were involved in the success of D-Day. It is just centered on the events at Omaha beach which involved the US forces. Certainly we would not have even made it to D-Day without the heroic contributions of Britain and the RAF in the early going as well as all the other Allied forces over the course of WWII. Respect and honor to ALL who served and sacrificed for our freedom.
BTW, the game does look interesting. Thanks for your great content!
It’s getting close to GenCon. I’m excited to hear what older and newer games people are interested in seeing, and picking up.
🙌
Happy to see our Kidz there!
Oh yeah, Zombie Teenz!!
For other solitaire wargames that "eurogamers" will probably enjoy, try out David Thompson's series of solo games, especially "Lanzerath Ridge" and "Castle Itter".
After a tragically bad demo at a convention, Bacon is the only one from that wave of AllPlay games that I didn't buy. It's been getting a little buzz lately; I might have to give it another chance.
Matthew – played Zombie Kidz when my kidlet was around 7, and it was a huge hit. Was one of our first intros to legacy games, and my wife and i even played through some of it ourselves after the wee boogin went to bed. Can confirm – still fun for adults.
Great video, Matthew! Love the picks from everyone.
Where did the 2-6 player count for Lorcana come from?
There's the standard 1 v 1 for two players and the Ursula's Return Illumineer's Quest which is a co-op challenge mode that can run 1-4 players. You'll need some houseruling for 1v1v1v1 or a 2v2 mode, but I have not seen any talks of 6 players in one game.
If my niece gets a little bit older… 😂 I really hope your niece ages with time and that you’ll have the chance to play Zombie Kidz/Teenz. Great game with kids!
Excellent stuff as always. My youngest daughter has liked both Kidz and Teenz and wants them to bring an Adultz one out 🙂
The arnak expansion is great. The story was ok, but the different win conditions and rules were very exciting. I'm thinking about a 2nd run to try and unlock more cards.
