Cosmic Frogs is such an interesting game. There's nothing that feels like it to me. I think the most amazing part is, if you really get into the gamebook, the creator(s) wrote this mythological story that is both literally and figuratively "out of this world"!!! It really has its own backstory as much as Sleeping gods or Ghosts Betwixt.
Uhm… Anyone else hearing ME!ME!ME! in the number jingle? No, just me? Okay…

I feel like Gettin’ It Played could be a 90s style sitcom where a gamer is trying to get a game played from their shelf of shame/opportunity using all kinds of weird, sneaky, or over the top tricks to overcome the obstacles that have long been preventing them from playing it (such as unpunched boards, playing time, player counts that don’t match your group, or being left to discover the rules on your own), ends up playing a different game instead and then says a really corny catchphrase for the laugh tracks. Also needs 90s Paula kid as the lead… does Matthew have a 90s persona as well?

Cosmic Frog is fantastic, weirdly its been enjoyed by everyone ive played it with regardless of their preferred genre. Rulebook isnt the best but the designer answered loads of questions on BGG.
