  1. it comes across as if you didnt play it yourself

  2. I will say this. The Lord of the Rings game is essentially Mansions of Madness with a LotR skin. Imperial Assault (my favorite) is essentially Descent 2nd edition with more shooting than melee.

  3. Chronicles of Drunagor is an awesome DC

  4. Journeys of middle earth is great my group started with this game ,imperial assault is great as well ,easy to learn fun to play not very complicated. Just started mansions of madness and its great so far and easy to learn

  5. You don't have ANY of these games, do you? Have you played ALL of these games before making this video, or you're just uploading a video for the sake of it?

  6. Some great games on your list, my favourite of which would be the new Claustrophobia 1643. Love Descent 2nd edition and Doom. Castle Ravenloft is a good game, just a bit basic. Great video though.😁

  7. Ever tried Machina archana or Cthulhu death may die?

  8. You miss Dungeon Saga.
I don't like Mansion of Madness because if you are in 1 player + master you are doomed. But I refer to 1st edition.

  9. Great list. I’ve really enjoyed Bardsung so shout out to that game 🙂

  10. The Castle Ravenloft game always seemed so BLAND looking…the tiles have no details other than looking like tiled stone. I mean could they not make the dungeon tiles look kind of unique and add little details in there?

  11. Are all dungeon crawlers cooperative games? Because me and my friends use to play a game called "The Classic Dungeon" and I THINK it's a dungeon crawler (really not sure), we fight against each other though.
I was really looking for a similar game, the closest one I could find was Arcadia Quest!

  12. You shoud check out bag of dungeon 1 and 2. They are simple, but very fun and quick to play

  13. Thank you for your speaking slowly – easier to understand – I don't know English very well

  14. Hi, and thanks for sharing this.

    These are all great DC’s.

I am, primarily, a solo gamer, so please consider my comments, below, with that in mind.

I own all the “X-haven” games released to date, and consider them to be extremely well-crafted, and great fun.

Recently got into “Tiny epic Dungeons”, with “Stories” and “Potions”. It is such a great game, for such a small box (but then I am used to this, as I grew up on the pocket box version of “Car Wars”, “Ogre”, and “The Fantasy Trip”, so I know many good things come in small packages…).

Also have “Imperial Assault”, and all expansions (I have a great love of Star Wars). Another cracker, except I dislike how the heroes scale depending on how many there are. I would have preferred the enemies to be scaled, according to the heroes, but it is a minor gripe. I converted one of the solo-play variants on BGG from US paper size, to A4, so people outside the US could use it (this was before FFG released their companion app, and there were not many options for solo play).

Have been purchasing, and playing “Sword and Sorcery” since the first Kickstarter. Love this game and the mechanics.

Used to have both “Doom”, and “Descent”, 1st edition, but they just played to “clunky” for me, so I sold them on.

Don’t think I have played the others listed, but I am aware of them. I would dearly love to get my hands on “Shadows of Brimstone”, from the first release through to everything available up to now, but that is another huge monetary investment..

You don’t mention “One Deck Dungeon” and expansions. These are great little games.

Nor do you mention “Dungeon Universalis”. On paper, this should be the perfect dungeon crawler, for me. In practice, I find the rules contradictory, and unmanageable. A lot of this stems from the English translation (and my copy is the second or third printing, where they refined their original translation which was purportedly very poor), and a lack of “key words”. I’m sure others will disagree.

    Cheers,
