  1. Both Rococo and Glen More 2 are really good and not as hard to play as they seem, judging by the huge boxes. You can get through a 2 player game of Glen More 2 in an hour once you've played it a couple of times. Rococo will take longer but the actions are quick and it's really fun, even though it is about making dresses, haha. Glass Road is another fantastic game that you will enjoy. Not at all like other Ewe R. games, but still one of my favourites of his. You can get through a 2-player game of this in like 45 minutes. I'm confident you'll both love all three.

  2. I definitely expected Munchkin singing of S.O.S. to break out at some point… but I'm not sure if I expected the ABBA or Rihanna song. Then again, I also expected a "That's what she said!" after 7:38, so what do I know.

  3. Roll player adventures and fog of love are getting played in Sept.

Campy creatures is one of my favorite games to introduce to people. Great for spooky season too!

  4. Night cage is great, definitely a good spooky season game. Also one of those games that you'll probably play again back to back because it's actually pretty fast. Have fun!

  5. I started intentionally working on my SOS last week and finally played NY Zoo, For Sale, and Catan, I will Join you guys in September and add Root, Fort, High Society, Machi Koro, Dice Throne, Subastral, and Caper!

  6. Love this idea! We have so many unplayed games. Not sure how many we will actually get to but hoping to learn Three Sisters, Cubitos and Isle of Cats in Sept. Hopefully others too.

  7. Great video! You have inspired me! I currently have 19 games on my SOS and now I have resolved to play the following in September:
    1. A Touch of Evil
    2. Five Tribes
    3. Fury of Dracula
    4. Ginkgopolis
    5. Railroad Ink Deep Blue
    6. Similo Spookies
    7. Skulls of Sedlec
    8. Sleeping Gods
    9. Tiny Epic Dungeons
    10. Ugly Gryphon Inn

    Wish me luck 🙂

  8. I am almost certain that Jamie hated Twilight Struggle…but we'll never know for sure

  9. Have you seen Agricola the 15th Anniversary big box? I'm pretty sure yall will get it.

  10. Glenmore is pretty simple. I was surprised. It's great! I really want to know what you thought about yak! It looks amazing to me but I've heard so many so so reviews.

  11. Glen More 2 is Amazing and the additional Chronicles makes it even better … it'll be tough not to continue when they are staring at you … and Rococo is a Masterpiece of a game

  12. This was my reminder to start painting Horrified 'Murican Monsters. I got 60 days.

For Unmatched Deadpool we house ruled that you can only play that character if you really perform what is requested by the card (in the spirit of the character).

  13. Whoever fails SOS September has to sell the unplayed games and gift one to a local game store for others to play.

  14. Lovely Jamie is also on mentally ill TikTok

  15. Your list reminded me I don't have Night cage in my collection. During spooky season we're going to mixing book club and game night for that one. Plans were made very quickly.

Anywho 🤣 good luck getting through your SOS. I BELIEVE IN YOU GUYS!

  16. “I really like toast”… “they can’t all be winners”. name the show that’s from.

  17. Is there a term for the shelf holding games you have played before, but it’s been so long you are ashamed that you’ve neglected them?

  18. ISS Vanguard is in Canada 🍁. You should get it very very soon. I want to see some of that on your channel. I’m in the USA and mine is still on the boat until the end of September.

  19. Hurray for Meadow! Hope you love it! Obsession is on my Shelf of Opportunity (I prefer to be more upbeat about it)!

  20. "Foster the Videos" over there!! Cranking them out! LOVE IT…though I think Jeff could use a vacation 😛 My shelf of shame is so big that its a non-issue anymore! Like you reach a threshold where its incomprehensible to the human brain 🙂 Like trying to think about the quantity of water in an ocean…you just go, "yea, that's a lot!" but you move on knowing your mind cannot comprehend how much a lot is!! Brain hack…SUCCESS! So I buy more games…lol

  21. what did you think of prehistories I have this in my shelf of shame.is it easy to learn.
I played parks today and first day with nightfall loved it

  22. Obsession isn’t a super hard learn, promise! Glass Road is also on my shelf of shame. Meadow is awesome, I love that game!

  23. Great list of games. Rococo, yes. It would be interesting to know your thoughts after playing these if the games are easier or harder than your initial thoughts. Sometimes impressions can keep people away from certain games.
I love Obsession, but you have to get into the Downtown Abbey mindset and talk British when you play. 😊 If you add the Upstairs Downstairs expansion then it becomes very thinky with all the different servant powers. Base game is fairly straight forward.
I need to play Glen More II also.
Anachrony…..wow. One of my favorite game of all time

  24. 100+ unplayed games. Sheesh. Don’t you know there are kids in Africa with zero games?! Lol jk. But really that’s a lot. Are we normalizing this in the board game community?

  25. Glen More II is an excellent game, not hard to learn or play at all. Also I would strongly advise against learning Obsession from the rulebook 😅It is just too "wordy" and convoluted, which makes it a real struggle to dig through and digest. You'll learn it faster from a how to play video and you'll realize that it is not even that complex.

  26. I believe in you. You can do it. (And I typed that with a straight face. )

  27. Hmmmmmmm…"What's our punishment if we don't play the games?" "We can't buy more games until Nov?" No agreement, just cut to next scene!

  28. SOS is Shelf of Shame but also Help I'm Buried In Unplayed Games when at sea.

  29. you have the same number of games on your shelf of shame as i have in total lol

  30. I was just going to commit to playing one game from my SOS for September but have since upped it to four: 1) Pax Pamir solo; 2) Welcome To solo; 3) Summit multi-player; 4) Tang Garden multi-player. Your video inspired me to revisit my SOS and I now have a growing cull list (up to ten games). Thanks for helping me sort through all this and good luck with your ambitious September list!

  31. Dominant Species is on our Shelf of Shame , is it a tricky little scallywag to learn ?

  32. As what we are thinking it's very much "have we packed everything we need !"

  33. I feel like those are literally the exact 10 that I voted for.. veryyyy excited for September!

Note on obsession, the rule book is super detailed and a little overwhelming but the game itself is much more straightforward!

  34. You'll like anno 1800, it's really neat, takes a couple plays to really get it. It feels like it it'll never end because you keep getting cards but then it all comes together at once!

  35. You guys are just great! So calming and relaxing and just fun to listen to.

What do I want to knock off my shelf of shame this month? I'll pick 5, because last month I only got 5 off.

What I want to knock off my shelf of shame in September 2022(in no particular order)?
    1)Imperial Settlers of the North
    2)Coimbra
    3)Heaven and Ale
    4)Praga Caput Regni
    5)Radlands

What I knocked off in August (in no particular order):
    1)Ten
    2) World's Fair 1893
    3) Guild of Merchants Explorers
    4) Planted
    5) Ark Nova

  36. War of the Ring is on our SOS, and I plan to get it learned and played sometime in Sept!!

Also, for added aesthetic, you should listen to the accompanying spooky soundtrack while playing Night Cage — it definitely sets the mood. And a fun bonus is seeing if you can win (or lose) the game before the soundtrack ends!

    Good luck, have fun!

  37. We had our shelf of shame down to three games and then I bought more haha still making headway but up to 7. Hoping to get Red Cathedral, Battle Lore, and Down force for sure played this month and hopefully can get all seven and finally for the first time in years have no shelf of shame after starting the year with over 60.

  38. Glass Road is ok at two player but know that the two player is a variant… if you can play it at three or four it’s better.

  39. My SOS is weird because I only have 1 game in it (Disney munchkin) but that’s purely because I don’t often play 3 player games just 2 player. Also I feel like I only have one because I have like 20-30 games compared to Foster the meeples 500+(Which is incredible!Yall are so awesome).

Also the one I’m guessing Jamie said “sucks” is either Dominant Species or Twilight Struggle(both just don’t seem like Jamie’s thing: not cute)

  40. Double Brandon Sanderson month! I loose Call to Adventure every time I play one of the themed ones. I can't help trying to make my story align with the books. But I have the best story at the end, so I sort of win!

  41. I kept thinking Jamie’s hair was censoring out a bad word until I saw the rest of it lol. Great video as always, thanks for making me feel not as bad about my buying habits with only 22 games on my SOS.

  42. What did you guys think of Bunny Kingdom? I really enjoy the drafting along with trying to grab spots that are adjacent but provide different resources. Throw in multiple different ways to score based on the parchment cards and it's just a fun little game. Some people criticize the fact the board isn't really big enough for all the rabbits on the board. Personally I don't have an issue with it but it bothers some.

  43. Rococo is a pretty easy game to learn. Night Cage is super creepy. Agricola ACG&S is a lot quicker and less brutal that Misery Farm.

  44. Of the ones you played, I'd love to hear your thoughts on Twilight Struggle! And of the ones the Patreon folks decided you have to play, really looking forward to hearing your thoughts on Horrified: American Monsters (as someone who's played the original), Meadow (as perhaps the only person who was underwhelmed by it, so I'm always eager to hear more perspectives on it), and Obsession (just because it's hard to get and I want to try it!). Good luck with the shelf!

  45. Good luck! I think it will be hard with the move coming up

  46. Reckoners is smaller than it looks, the box is just massive for the Gametrayz. You guys can knock that off easy especially since you play a lot of Dice Throne!
