Today, social inequality divides French society. We got several children to play a very famous board game, with rules that more closely resemble real life and it got them pretty frustrated.
Could we offer them such a future ?
Could we offer them such a future ?
L’Observatoire des inégalités is a independent French organization which collects datas about social inequalities and brings them to the public’s attention.
Let’s change the rules.

imagine psychologically torturing children like this? sickos
disgusting propaganda, no wonder they target children
Your idea of using a game to teach inequality is excellent. However, in your film I could not see much, if any, debriefing. You have to know that debriefing is the KEY to learning?. This is even more important with young learners, especially in an emotionally charged game.
Also Monopoly has been used many times before, and has been the object of research. I gave several references to research by several people, but the post was deleted.
how about "look for a job" "dont get it because we flooded your nation with 'migrants'"?
sooo… we wuz kangz?
c'est un tres bon spot informatif. Bravo.
L'observatoire des inégalités c'est la vie.

That's a really nice work, but when we see in a globe view that's the opposite of what's happening all over the world! This video is in French and now at France some white people are deciding to exclude refugees, immigrants and other people that are not french (aka xenophobia) and they think that's right for a President to think and to take actions!! I really don't understand how this extreme left wing thoughts are taking the leadership in all governments….
and this is France, so we can imagine how worse it is at less fortunate places such as the poorest countries…
Are these actors? Cuz American kids would have stood up and said "fuck this shit" instead of asking "porquoi porquoi??"
Heart been broke so many times I
Don't know what to believe
Mama say it's my fault, it's my fault I wear my heart on my sleeve
Think it's best I put my heart on ice, heart on ice
'Cause I can't breathe
I'ma put my heart on ice, heart on ice
It's gettin' the best of me
While in the cell with Lil' Hakeem, after I slapped him I had told him
"I don't know how you get down with them clowns but I'm a soldier"
No one could understand, I had way too much aggression
That built over the years from my abandoned adolescence
See I done been lied to, backstabbed, and heartbroken
I wanted to cry but I was too afraid to open
Prayin' one day I'd find a piece of mind by the ocean
I spent all my time committing crimes to get closer
While at my nana house I play the couch, starin' at the ceiling
Tryin' not to get in my feelings
Thinkin' of a way I could make these millions
Maybe that'll take this pain away and clear up all these rainy days
Heart been broke so many times I
Don't know what to believe
Mama say it's my fault, it's my fault I wear my heart on my sleeve
Think it's best I put my heart on ice, heart on ice
'Cause I can't breathe
I'ma put my heart on ice, heart on ice
It's gettin' the best of me
Dear author(s), first of all, congratulations for the amazing idea. I'd like to contribute and add subtitles in Portuguese to this video so that I could share it among family and friends who do not speak English. However, it seems that this feature is somehow disabled, or was not available by the time the video was published. Please let me know if there's a way to do so.
Great way to teach at a young age life isn’t fair. We’re taught the complete opposite.
It's strange to give this video a "like". Because the message is sad, but for now, the harsch reality.
No! The hypothesis is false… The motivation is too simplistic.
It lacks the psychological and mental factors of those involved.
Ask two people from different backgrounds what they would do with "X"€ amount if they were to restart from scratch , one coming from a business background the other from ordinary new citizens to be convinced the answers will be different.
The one that will get out of poverty quickly will be the one that knows how to invest the money profitably and not the one that uses it for immediate consumption.
This is why they say
"Penny for penny shoot!"
If it was as you say all black women would be marginalized everywhere. Or that's not so. Just look at Oprah Winfrey, black woman turned billionaire. And so many others.
The culture of money makes the difference between the two protagonists not social differences. It's no use having three streets and two houses to begin with if you don't know how to deal with them.
