  1. With all the expansions of Cosmic Encounter, you should also mention that you have a grand total of 196 different aliens to play as. That's a LOT to choose from with a LOT of replayability.

  2. A game I was really surprised about was tanto cuore.
It got a really solid teambuilding system, just a shame all the cards are sexualized anime girls

  3. Unexpected Map Men in your video. How come??!?!

  4. Blood on the Clocktower looks very ugly. Terrible.

  5. Man, a lot of these look awesome. Have some new games to try out

  6. I've owned Cosmic Encounter for about a decade and have still never gotten to play it.

  7. Never played CE or BHOtH and so many new ones to me on this list. Very solid 10.

  8. I just bought a copy of Cosmic Encounter and can't wait to get it to the table, thanks for the list!

  9. I haven’t bought unmatched for the same reason Adam hasn’t bought MTG. My shelves will break

  10. My list in no order:

    Risk
    Checkers
    Dominion
    Oz Fluxx
    Dungeon Quest
Escape the Curse of the Temple
    1 Night Werewolf
    Cribbage
    Zombie Dice
    Superfight

Other than Risk, most older board games are kind of… boring. At least to me. I have Crib on there as that's what my grandfather and I used to play all the time, and checkers is just an easy game to play.

  11. i remember a late 1960s game ( possibly 1968) called war lord. games wrkshop in early 1980 brought out there version (with a cropped board ) it was a game of area control and neuclear distruction. having a curious attack / defense system in guessing opponents dice pips, to defeat invading armies. once a war head was detonated the knock on effect on other adjacent warheads was devistating ………………..liked alot

  12. Never thought I’d hear an Englishman appreciate Celtic culture.

  13. what if you're fascinated by these games but have never played them before, and want to learn to play them but you're autistic so it's difficult interacting with new people (or the people at the nearest game store aren't receptive to newcomers)?

  14. Think I might try a few of these, I'll have to check out my local!

  15. Let's face it you could make Crockinole yourself 😂

  16. lol my favortie board game is about baloney not even lying

  17. You're right for not doing Magic. The collectible games are way too focused on tournaments and competitive events. I for one want to return to glorious board gaming, something about friends getting together, not swarming the only 12 year old at the tourney for quick wins so you can get the free Wolverine figure.

  18. Hey Adam, could you do a video on mini painting. I have such a hard time painting so small so tips from someone who just started and remembers what’s it’s like to be new to mini painting would be nice!

  19. Just added cosmic encounters to my wishlist! Thanks!

  20. I love this channel! Very funny, surgical dissection of the games, great delivery. A fab blend of information and entertainment.

  21. I would recommend games that also have a good solo player experience because its sometime difficult to find enough people to play with or want to learn a new game.

  22. In the most distant reaches of the world, magic still exists, embodied by spirits of the land, of the sky, and of every natural thing. Here is the newly found board game, "Lagim Card Game" – a collectible card game based on the Philippines's folklore and mythology. Know more about the battle mechanics

  23. Coming from a group that love disruption.. I loved play legend of Amalur. It asked us all to play ina veeery different way… Also, Uno. With our 425 house rules to be even more dickish to one another. But the best? STARQUEST. Played it SO MUCH as a child with Heroquest… And while i ve found games that i liked more than heroquest in the dungeoncrawling world… Never found something as simple and alluring as starquest

  24. Adam, you get me. Hahaha
It's so much fun to betray and make your friends angry lying to their faces.

Probably will buy all in this list

  25. A lot of these games sound awesome. Picking ten games that are my favorites would be difficult, but Legendary Encounters: Alien and the Warcraft Board game are definitely up there

  26. “Not sure if it’s clear by now but I love talking.”

Trust me, we know. And we love your voice

  27. I feel as though Stop Thief never comes up in conversations as one of the earliest examples of the secret-movement-catch-the-criminal-you-can't-see games.

  28. Chess, connect 4, darts, pool, snooker & subbuteo are also board games & they should score high on any list, as they are more popular.

  29. Crokinole is similar to a game I invented in 1987, but couldn't get backing! You flick marbles around a rectangular board or table & where they rest decides where you play them from. The objective is to score points by flicking marbles at one of ten pins positioned on the board/table sides & corners. A direct hit is worth 1 point & a rebound off the edge of the playing area is worth 2 points. The game lasts for 1 hour & the winner is the player with the most points.

  30. what a cool list! my favourit game is cosmic encounter too and i need to check out the another games. 🙂

  31. not sure if this the correct title, but in the 90s a friend of a friend brought over "Republic of Rome" where each player plays a political faction in the Senate trying to get commercial concessions, public offices, governorships, etc. What made the game great was not only are you trying to outmaneuver everyone at the table, but the game itself was trying to defeat you all as well. Foreign wars, natural disasters, etc. Truly one of my favorites of all time.

  32. OMG whitehall sounds amazing. I am definitely going to watch a playthrough and then see if I can justify adding it to 'the list' [of games i want to buy] 😛

  33. Comment for myself of games to check out later in detail:

    Whitehall
    Unmatched
    Chinatown

  34. it looks like you guys should play mansion of madness first edition.

its played with a dm. they did the app so all players can play. funny you guys went back to the old way of playing it

although second edition is way more interesting and finessed.

  35. Twilight Imperium, Dune, Arkham Horror LCG, Root…

  36. Adam are there any updates to your top 10? Or is there any chance you could do a top 50? I’d love to watch that. 👍

  37. I hope raccoon tycoon fixes one of the damen itches your top 10 scratches! I've vot that one incoming!

  38. “Dracula vs Sinbad.” – Immediately thinks of comedian Sinbad.

  39. Blood on the clocktower is just a tabletop edition of Town of Salem.

  40. Solid comedy in a channel ive never heard of 🤙

  41. Crokinole has potential to be the very final Board in Lord Of The Board

  42. 4-5 yrs ago I was so up to date with wrestling. I watched Whatculturewrestling everyday. FF to now, Life's changed. No more time for wrestling like back in the day. I'm searching for good board games and then I see this video. "Adam? THAT'S ADAM. YOOOO ADAM. It's been a min" This guy's a legend and seeing him genuinely brought me happiness. Great to see you Adam
