  1. nice quality on the video guys! keep it up! background music not distracting or annoying, showing components and mutliple good pictures of the game etc… great!

  2. When I saw you(Janis T.) like thematic and complex games, I was about to recommend Nemesis, Root, and Spirit Island, which are definitely my favorite games.
Now I'm glad you have 2 out of 3 that high 😁

PS. Play S.Island with Jagged Earth, it will surely make it stay in your top 3 for a really long time. 😊

PPS. Now Im quite convinced to back Sleeping Gods KS. And try Kings Dilmena with my friends.

  3. Wow I really expected that GOT would be in this video

  4. Absolutely love this channel and you guys. Can i ask where u guys are from? Much love from the UK

  5. Spirit Island is also my top 1 of all time by a fair margin. Jagged Earth really pushed this game to an infinite replay value for me. It was a great game before, now it's just unfair how good it is.Probably played over 300 games by now, with varied amount of players (played mostly solo and 3p… but I also have a few 6 players games done!). True solo, two handed, even three handed, this game just gets it. All the possible spirits combos, the powers you get, the events, the faction you're fighting… there's just so much replay it's never the same. And the modular difficulty really keeps it fresh and challenging every single time. Dune Imperium has to be one of those game I got only recently but climbed all the way up too. Same with Sleeping Gods actually ! But I still have a lot of trouble making a clear "top 10" because it depends a lot on criteria. Some games are just experiences that could be top 10 (Tainted Grail, King's Dilemma, Cloudspire, Arkham Horror: TCG…), but I feel like their replay is either low (TG, CS, AH:TCG…) or inexistant. Like, Tainted Grail is by far my favorite board gaming experience. But I still consider Spirit Island my #1.And funny enough I have no issues dying in 7th Continent. What I hate is the crazy amount of grinding for food there is. You're literally running from hunting spot to hunting spot. In my latest play I introduced a little houserule I found on the web that is simply to make food restore 1.5x the amount they do. Feels much better. Still a little grindy and doesn't just remove the urgent need to get food, but a little more tolerable.

  6. Just recently discovered this channel, and loving the content. Your personalities come across really well and like others have mentioned the production value is really high. Keep it up and look forward to seeing more!

  7. Just found your channel and loving it! You guys are great.I'm in the process of introducing my Mom into board games and it's been a lot of fun researching all these new games, so I really appreciate your videos. If possible I'd love to see your list of great games to play with your parents (Mom and I have been enjoying Hive, Jaipur, Battleline and Patchwork)I'd also love to see a list about good story games! Looking forward to more cotent from you guys, thanks so much!

  8. My top 10 boardgames are the only 10 boardgames that i have 😆

  9. Does anyone know where I can get a copy of sleeping gods I have been looking for it for a while now but they’re sold out 😭

  10. Ack I had Dune Imperium but sold it for a profit before opening/playing it because we only play 2 player (unless with our little kids) and I just thought it thus wasn’t for us. I’m sure the occasional 2 player is okay but what if you only play 2 player? (I wasn’t into the theme or art particularly either. Scythe works great for us, though.) Great video!

  11. Great video guys, love Dune Imperium and Eclipse Second Dawn. Tried Spirit Island and Nemesis at least 5 times, but to be honest hated both games and sold them both. But each to there own. Keep the videos coming, enjoy watching them.

  12. Great selection guys, very large overlap with mine. I have Keyforge as number 1.

  13. A lot of good games here.i own spirit island, clank and Nemesis and for me my all time favorites are lords of waterdeep and nemesis.i have in my wishlist for this year dune imperium and sleeping gods

  14. Great content as always!Would be cool to have an update like every two years or so. Who moved in your list, who dropped out?

  15. Conquest of Paradise is such a wonderful game. Sad to see it is not in your Top 10!

  16. Love Spirit Island a lot! I think my top would be:1. Mage Knight the Boardgame2. Spirit Island3. Scythe4. Gloomhaven5. Race for the Galaxy6. Cosmic Encounter7. Through the Ages: A New Story of Civilization8. Ghost Stories9. Dune Imperium10. Gaia Project

  17. Great lists! Dune: Imperium has SHOT up my list too! It is always such a tight game, my group loves it. I really want to try some of the others on your lists, especially LOTR: LCG. But, I'm already invested in Arkham Horror and Marvel Champions…I don't know that it would be wise to jump into another LCG 😅

  18. One solo gme and one two player game of Ark Nova for me and it is in top3 of all time already. I have to play it more but can see it going in top 1. So so good. Terraforming Mars R.I.P 🙂

  19. Gloomhaven, Twilight Imperium 4, Descent 2nd edition, Kemet, Nemesis, Game of Thrones Boardgame, LOTR LCG, Terraforming Mars, Puerto Rico, Catan (cannot leave out because it all started with Catan)

  20. First come firste serve! Your TOP10 came out before Dice Tower – so these are the definitive lists. 🙂

  21. Super jealous you've got Lockdown already, will probably see my copy in a month. And got Ark Nova on pre-order as well, just got in Dune Imperium so will have to try that soon. On my list that you mentioned: Nemesis, Clank, Terraforming Mars.

  22. Newcomer here. Really like the production quality and your personalities. Wishing you the best 🙂

  23. It’s just started snowing 🌨 when I started watching. You must be gaming gods to make it easier to stay in and play games!

  24. Janises bond over space horror. I still kick myself for buying lots of shltty games on kickstarter, and missing Nemesis and Nemesis Lockdown when I got busy at work (i.e., didn’t have as much time at work to look through kickstarter).

  25. In no particular order.
Lighter = Project L, Barenpark, Blueprint, Carcassone, Red 7, It's A Wonderful World, Welcome To, Point Salad, Bullet, Battle Line.
Heavier = Wingspan, Castles of Burgundy, Ghost Stories, Obsession, Suburbia, Dwellings of Eldervale, Feast for Odin, Five Tribes, Campaign Trail, Tapestry.

  26. 0:05 and i'm already happy that you got for Janis G normal camera he deserved 😀

  27. JT how would you compare LOTR and GOT card games? And Arkham Horror card game vs GOT.? I am a GOT fan love the world, but also considering AH because you guys recommended it.

  28. Was thinking of throwing some onions for Janis sound quality, but you picked such a great games that all I can send is an escape pods for the safety reasons.
