El Dorado is dope!! It’s a “other” game for me though 😄
We picked up El Derado about a month ago. We love it. We played it twice in a row the first 2 times it came out. Think we've played 3 in a row.
Dog park is a great game very thematic!
We have been playing "In the footsteps of Darwin" and we absolutely love it
Discovered "Mistwind" at GenCon this year and it stole the show for my wife and me. We were drawn in by flying whales, and stayed for the great gameplay. Pickup and deliver meets Ticket to Ride, but it is much fresher and crunchier than a snap-description like that.
There's this wonderful hidden action element as well, where you have numbered discs (poker chips) that represent what actions you can take at the start of each of your turns… but here's the catch, you secretly abandon one of these discs at the beginning of the round so the rest of the table is left to guess what actions you might have left and most actions can only be taken by one player each round.
There's a lot of interesting tension and decision points in Mistwind. Highly recommend.

After the 4th game of Conservas I grew tired of it. I really loved it at the start, it just grew stale
Finally getting to play though some of ISS Vanguard and am enjoying it. It’s a bit tedious, but still fun to see what’s going to happen.
I also gave in and got Slay the Spire. I am loving the game, but the group not so much.

I love conservas, the theme is not my type at all – but it is super fun and needs a lot of strategic thinking. Would recommend 10/10
