  1. Aye, nice I'm from Cleveland area. Thanks for the recommendations

  2. Sorry, the boardgame with incredibly simple rules that is incredibly difficult to master is the game of: Go. – toby

  3. Pipeline, Bus, Hanamikoji, The Estates, Castell, Irish Guage, and Ginkgopolis are the ones in my collection that fit this bill for me.Honestly Roads & Boats, Indonesia and Food Chain Magnate almost make this list, but they have just a few too many rules to really make the "easy to learn" cut.

  4. Knew I had to subscribe as soon as I heard the slash reference. As a Bengals fan I have some hatred towards any Steeler but cant hate when there is a semi obscure reference to one of em. Good stuff

  5. As someone old enough to remember when Kordell Stewart played in the NFL, that entire rabbit hole had me smiling. Nice job.

  6. Hansa Teutonica is great! I want to play it more. I really need to try Watergate – I didn't realize it was that easy to learn. I love the mind games where you're playing the player and not the game. And I think pretty much all the cube rail games would fit in this category, but Irish Gauge is a good pick! I also should play that one more cause I've only played once 😅

  7. i enjoyed the video are you planning to do any play throughs

  8. My favorite easy to learn, hard to master game is Century: Spice Road. It's a deck-building game with only 4 actions and 3 types of cards. A single page of rules, but surprising depth. Not so much interaction between players, but as a consequence you can often plan many turns ahead.

  9. Finally back from camping so I can catch up! For me, a game I think is easy to learn but so hard to master is Keyflower, the bidding mechanic is easy to play out but all the little strategies add up!

  10. Your reviews are honest, energetic and unbiased. Thanks for what you do and representing Cbus so well! Go crew!

  11. First! 😄 always excited to see the new video notification.

  12. mic's a lil high but really clear…good job this week

  13. Dude, I've only played Hansa Teutonica once and it didn't really win over my group. It's one that I would put on high rotation.

  14. I take issue with T&E being easy to learn.

  15. Kyle was so good in this video. I saw the last video with the three of you. I really enjoyed watching and I have had Hansa Teutonica on my purchase list for awhile so now I guess Kyle just cost me $. I don't mind because I love dropping cash on board games! FLGS here I come.

  16. Kyle Kyle Kyle you have hit your groove in front of the camera you look more comfortable your review and your comments were on point your comments regarding Reiner knitzia, talking about Eric Lang (sorry if I miss spelled their names) also about reference to the wide receiver that’s nic name/enjoyable.Very very smooth and your presentation, I enjoyed your video immensely keep up the good work.👍

  17. I really like Easy to Learn, Hard to Master games. Have not played either of those. Always love lists with not the typical candidates on there.

  18. Mine would be Bus (newer version is another Capstone!) very simple to teach and play but ohhh the crunch!! Great list, I adore Hansa!

  19. Great subject for a video! I'm always looking for games in this category. Watergate is terrific! Fun to play with an interesting theme. I love the multiuse cards.

I haven't played Irish Gauge but enjoy Iberian Gauge. It's still pretty simple to play with 2 pages of rules (1 sheet front and back). The only knock is when I played it at 5 for the first time it didn't feel like there were enough shares available to make people's positions different.

  20. Love Kyle!! Completely in agreement with Ankh. Actions you take are easy to learn, but dang is it thinky.
