  2. Aw, just found you guys whilst YT surfing for board games. Lovely couple, subbed 🙂

  3. are these kickstarter coming out 2024 or retail?!!!

  4. You guys should play rival restaurants. I am excited for Wyrmspan.

  5. Good list! I feel it's missing Natera: New Beginning though 😀

  6. My most anticipated game that’s coming out in 2024 the x-men dice throne

The x-men are my favorite characters in marvel so my really excited 🤩

  7. I'm so excited for KELP! and for flock together! This year is going to be AMAZINGQ

  8. Was the name of that company with the small board games during the honorable mentions called Button Chai?

  9. Love the heads up! Wish you guys were in Denver. You’d be great players with my wife and I. Happy new year

  10. If you are a fan of Scott Almes, I hope you've gotten to play So You've Been Eaten. It's a quirky little thing of beauty.

  11. Lots of good stuff coming next year. I too am excited for Heat: torrential rain, Conservas, First Tsar, and Middle Ages.

  12. Omg so many to add to my list! Great picks! So exciting

  13. I'm very excited for a few Kickstarter campaigns that are scheduled to fulfill in 2024; Weirdwood Manor, Stonespine Architects, Skyrise, and of course X-Men Dice Throne and Final Girl Series 3.

  14. There are some very intriguing games listed here. Thank you for the list!

  15. I am excited for Dice Throne X-Men and the Deep Rock Galactic expansions.

  16. If you like a good restaurant theme, you might like Rival Restaurants. It works best at 3+ though. But they have a new expansion kickstarting in 2024. It’s wicked fun and approachable

  17. Manifest Destiny is listed in BGG as, "Corps of Discovery: A Game Set in the World of Manifest Destiny."

  18. By the looks of the pic you shared,Event Horizon wasted its title. Looks like the sort of game that should have been called Spaceship lol.

  19. You guys peaked my interest with that Vampire game and the Blackbeard. Jeff I love Kinfire Delve- not enough eyes on. I desperately want to play Kinfire Chronicles. I’m excited about Cthulhu Must Die, invincible from Direwolf, moonrollers, and Weirdwood.

  20. I’m looking forward for Unmatched Witcher Silver and Steel

  21. this is awesome i didn’t know about a lot of these games. i’m really excited for one that probably won’t come out in 2024 but at least is getting crowdfunded in 2024 and that’s Diablo. don’t know anything about the game yet but it is based on my favorite video game series of all time so here is hoping the board game version is great.

  22. I look forward to "Under our Sun" from Tabletopper Games. Campaign launch on March 01, 2024 on Gamefound. Perhaps also interesting for Jeff?

  23. After watching your video filled with awesome sounding games, 2024 cannot come fast enough for me.

  24. I waffled on the kickstarter for Harvest for a long time and decided to pass and wait for reviews, but it’s still my most anticipated upcoming game

  25. Rock Hard: 1977 is my most anticipated Devir game. That's a publisher who's going to have a(nother) great year.

  26. Are you going to get a prototype of dragon bond quest?

  27. I was anticipating you guys saying defenders of the wild. It’s co-op version of root but not asymmetrical

  28. You managed to name like a gazillion games I never even heard of. XD Except for Elder Scrolls, which I am also quite excited for.

  29. @jongetsgames did a play-through of Bone Wars. Looks great

  30. I have Windmill Valley on my watch list and most curious to hear more about Apple Grove. Tangerine Games seems like an interesting new publisher. I’m waiting for their Nestlings to get out into the wild in 2024 to see reviews. I couldn’t figure out based on the KS if it would be for us or not.

  31. Great list! Clash of Magic Schools and Critter Kitchen looks great. I'm excited about Tidal Blades 2, Floe, Potions of Azerland, and Weirdwood Manor.

  32. I look forward to a lot of new content! Have you heard ot the card game The Muppets Christmas Carol – Spirit of Giving. Set Collection with an interesting twist. I just found out about it and ordered on Amazon.

  33. What are some of your favourite pick up and deliver games? Only one i have so far is horrified and looking to explore this mechanic more

  34. I’m most excited for Arydia: The Paths we Dare Tread!! I think it’s the closest we’ll ever get to DND in a board game tbh!! Couldn’t be more stoked! 💕

  35. Oh my gosh! Bone Wars is going to be a game?! If y'all ever want some funny paleontology history, look up the story of the Bone Wars. Basically two paleontologists (considered the father(s) of modern paleontology) fighting to name the most dinosaurs, and the names get wild. They backstab each other so hard, and go out of their way to ruin each other's digs and careers. It is a WILD story. Highly recommend finding a podcast or book about it. So worth it.

  36. I'm all about Button Shy! Can't wait for the Last Lighthouse game to hit Kickstarter.

  37. Ironwood was awesome, played it at PAX and it was really fun. It's got a whole capture the flag almost mechanics

  38. The rare video that brings me to post several different comments: Jeff, did ypu know the author of RED DUST REBELLION is a fellow YouTuber? @3MBG ("3 Minute Board Games"). He had some updates on vevelopment over the years.

  39. 14:06 CLASH OF MAGIC SCHOOLS is a re-skin of BABEL (ca 2000) and an "early Rosenberg" – as it is from the time period between BOHNANZA and AGRICOLA it doen't realy compare to his other games (cough cough it is the only Rosenberg i ever got into back in the day, as I bought BABEL just on 'theme' alone). BABLE is good fun, but very 'swing-y': you can go from "nearly winning" by victory-points to loosing, when your opponent destroys your ziggurat/pyramid with one acction and steals the best parts for himself.

  40. 27:16: BONE WARS was on Kickstarter recently and I inst-backed it on theme alone. Although I'm not sure how well it will work for me: There are two "gentleman of independent means" who try to "discover" the most new dinosaurs – by any means, including mislabeling their findings as 'new' creatures, stealing and bribary (the "Wars" part of Bone Wars). The up to four players have to aligne with one of those two figures as their employees (but apparenttly can switch sides during the game). Those two "gentleman" really existed. For the palenontologicaly inclined: Jamie, are you aware of the two excellent YT-Channels @eons and @thebrainscoop (recently revived)?

  41. Forget boardgames! That Mounties hoodie goes hard!

  42. You mentioned a lot of the ones that are on my most anticipated list! Jeff, you may want to check out Sankoré: The Pride of Mansa Musa. It's co-designed by one of the co-designers of 3 Ring Circus – Fabio Lopiano.

Here are my five most anticipated for 2024:

    5. Windmill Valley – designed by Dani Garcia and published by Board and Dice. Barcelona was a hit for me so I want to check this out, too. It's lower, though, because it's pegged as a lighter game.

    4. Daitoshi – wanna check this out because of Dani Garcia. And Devir has been knocking it out of the park lately. And this should be fairly heavy. So, that's exciting.

    3. Inventors of the South Tigris – LOVE the first two games in this trilogy already. Planning on backing this one.

    2. Sankoré: The Pride of Mansa Musa – heavy historical euro set in Timbuktu with a "dedicated solo mode." This sounds right up my alley. Art by Ian O'Toole, too!

    1. Ezra and Nehemiah – LOVE the Biblical theme and seems like another solid design from Shem Phillips. Already backed and stoked to get my copy in the Spring!

  43. Guys, Hobby world is a russian company, please don't buy any game from this publisher. $ you spend goes to support russian army

  44. Excited for Kelp! Can’t wait for that game. Your playthru helped seal my pledge. Thanks guys!

  45. I'm really wating for Unconscious Mind to finally come out. I usually don't buy many brand new games but rather wait on some reviews.

  46. I don't spend much time looking for information on games coming out next year since I am out of room. I have one outstanding Kickstarter project and that is for Colab and Palm Laboratory. Based on the lastest update, hopefully it will fulfill early in 2024. Yonder caught my attention and I'm hoping there will be more information available about it soon.
