A lot of people don't know that "Kanban" is a manufacturing process that tries to reduce waste, it's not just the name of a game.

I was surprised the first time I saw the Kanban games, Kanban is a software development framework I've used at some of my workplaces.

Skull Canyon ski fest reminds me of an old computer game on windows 95, or earlier, where you skied down a hill avoiding trees and hitting jumps to do tricks. After a certain point a yeti would come running out and eat you. If you managed to escape him, he'd just come back and try again and you were continuously going faster and faster down the hill. I believe it was called Ski Free.

Always look forward to this news series. Re the new Lacerda game that may be more "accessible", I have heard another bg media (which one escapes me now) mentioning the use of "approachable" instead of "accessible" to reserve accessibility for Accessibility like colour-blindness and other challenges. Is this something WIP has/would consider as well?
Last Light is super exciting. Most gamers don't have time to play a classic 4X game and cutting a play session short feels like you're not getting the full experience. I just backed Fractal since its the first 4X that can be played in 1-1.5 hours and i'll be backing Last Light as well. It took a long time but 4X games are finally being designed with modern ideals in mind (ie. people don't want to spend 8 hours learning and playing one game)

You know what’s bizarre to me? After Voyager meets specifies 8472, they don’t really interact with them again, and they continue to list them as one of the threats they’ve encountered in the delta quad – they don’t really acknowledge their joint goals and alliance.
