It looked like Frederick custom used some inserts on some Kallax (not positive its kallax) to split the square in half to shelf some smaller games nicely. If this is what happened i'm really impressed and might have to toy around with that idea myself.
For the person who likes being the villain and painting minis, "Star Wars: Imperial Assault" checks both of those boxes. They can play as the Empire, and crush their former friends with myriads of minis they painted.
you should come over to mine and organise my shelves 🙂
Such a great video idea. Loved this. Really looking forward to a part 2.
I have a video idea 😁How about a draft á la „Don‘t judge a book by its cover“ 😅These are games that may look boring or simply not good, but once you play them it‘s actually really fun :)For me two examples would be love letter and/or cartographers
Thanks for the suggestion of Alice is Missing. Sounds amazing and will check it out, since we’ve never heard of it. Also haven’t played Death May Die yet, but really want too. Love having Cthulhu watching over us as we play! And Too Many Bones is a blast, very unique and challenging! Cheers gentleman, keep up the great work!
I can't wait to see if you guys do a part 2 of this and make it a series! Still waiting on my latest shipment before I send in my submission shelfie 😉
This was such a blast! 😄 Thanks for checking out my shelfie. 😁 I played Ark Nova with friends, for me it's a bit too long, but they laughed so hard when I mentioned your recommendation. 😄 Maybe I should give it a second try. 😁
Hmmm… just went downstairs to grab Thunderstone Quest from my shelf and it’s not there anymore…. Weird… 🙂 Seriously, I know my Thunderstone Quest is safe from Janis since I’m way to far… Quebec, Canada. :). Thanks for reviewing my shelf, it was super fun hearing you commenting about my collection! 🙂 Since I sent that pic, I bought another Kalax shelf, enough space to add Hadrian’s Wall to it! Thanks for the suggestion! 🙂 Great video, just like all your videos!
New sub! Liked
Thank you for the shelf review guys! 🥰 And the recommendation too we love our pirate games, one of our all times favorite is Forgotten Waters. I hope soon I can add Dead Reckoning too and honesty I'm wating on more reviews about it, definitely watching yours! 😉 UNO is an ongoing meme for our gaming group hence the emphasized placement XD
Greg's shelve all in all is the best for me. The organizing, but also the mix of games and quantity. Also not going for the standard Kallax or similar look is refreshing. Games are pieces of art, and the way he is displaying it do it justice 🙌
No way! What a huge compliment to be featured on your channel! We'd love to have you two over for a game night any time. Good suggestion on Wavelength too. We've really enjoyed the app but maybe it's time to fill out that psychedelic lower part of our left shelf with an actual copy, haha
Such a fun video idea 😁 I'd love to see a part two!
Wow, i'm flattered to be in your video, thank you and thank you for your suggestions. And answering your question, that shelf is the "misc" shelf :D, it has decks of regular cards, chess pieces, a puzzle, big bags to transport games to friends houses and board game accessories, like dice trays, wooden card holders, a card shuffler (for wingspan, I have the Europe expansion in the main box, that's a lot of cards to shuffle by hand), etc. It can definitely be used for more games 😉
Cool video idea! Keep making awesome content guys!
Agreed – fun video idea and a great way to connect with your audience / community. Fun stuff 👍
Omg! I’m totally gonna send my shelf in! This is so fun 🙂
Hahahahahahaha I totaly forgot to send a picture of my game shelf 😀 Where can I send you picture?
Missed it! Was going to clean up my shelf before taking a photo 😥
Enjoyed and thanks! I think rating viewer collections is a pretty interesting inclusive concept worth watching for sure. Please keep them coming. The "All You Can Board "channel do a similar thing they call "Rate and Roast your Collection". Its pretty mild on the roasting though nothing mean spirited, and enjoyable as well. 👍
Great and awesome video 🙂
How many games count as „shelf“? 😅
I just started out my collection (your reviews helped me a lot 😊)
Frederic(k) is a french compatriot or Quebec i think, regarding the french localisation of his boxes. Here in france, there is some games i 'm heager to see in french version, like
Cloudspire,
Merchants of the Dark Road,
Sleeping Gods (plan to arrive at the end of this year in French Version),
Feed the Kraken, even if the game is not so language dependant, only some text on cards. If you like hidden/treason game, light/medium rules for big group, nice stuff, have a look at this game.
Funny thing to know, in France, "Ruins of Arnak" in french version become "Les ruines de NARAK", the french world "arnaque" meaning "SCAM" in french language. " Ruins of SCAM", marketing decided to change that.
Love your channel,
Great video! Love to see people’s shelves!
Great video! Loved the idea. 🙂
Great video. Can't wait for a part 2.
