  1. This is an interesting way to pick you favorite games of the year. I've never seen anyone pick by month. Some of my favorites that I played last year . . . 1. Xia2. Champions of Midgard3. Imperial Assault4. Paladins of the West Kingdom5. Circadians First Light6. Planet Unknown7. Raccoon Tycoon8. Pandemic9. Rajas of the Ganges10. Architects of the West Kingdom

  2. I've only played 2 on your list. I have both Cartographers game but have yet to play them. Ticket to Ride is too lite for me. I prefer Railways of the World. Picket up Heat just to fill out my collection for diversity sake. My only other racing game was an oldie but still one of my favorite 5+ player games called RoboRally. The hand management in Heat makes the game so much fun. Its so easy to teach that even non gamers catch on quickly.Personally, my surprise hit of 2022 has been Carnegie. I originally bought it because it had a very gimmicky player board. The gameplay, turned out to be really fun even though I came in last. Most disappointing game for me was Twilight Inscription. However, my friend really took a liking to the game. He enjoyed the variety of the aliens and the puzzle nature of the game boards. For me, my expectations for the game was different than what the game delivered.

  3. We share a lot of favs. I’ve had Arkham horror lcg for many years but decided to really dig into it this year. With all the resources available… game bits and playmats on Etsy, arkhamdb, etc it is much easier to get started. Thanks for the video!!

  4. I like your presentation and your smile. Well done!

  5. Thank you so much for putting in images and/or b roll. As still new to hobby, I don’t always know what some games are just by hearing the name. It’s extremely helpful to put the name and image of the game together. To be honest, I have not continued watching videos because other content creators don’t do this. I end up having to go out of YouTube and search the game if I’m that interested. I know it takes extra work by you but it really helps and it’s part of creating content in my opinion. Sorry for the rambling but I just wanted to say thank you and share why I think it’s important. I hope your channel begins to grow quickly in the new year!

  6. Thanks for the video! The game that got to the table the most was Watergate. I'm looking forward to diving into the Undaunted series and attempting Frosthaven and Oathsworn in 2023.

  7. Thanks. Yes, Biblios! Agreed with others on your showing visuals of the games – so many game videos are just talking heads. Looking forward to Arkham lcg and Heat!

  8. Just discovered your channel through this video. You have the same taste in games as I do! +1 subscriber 😁

  9. I liked this monthly breakdown for 2022. It was a refreshing take for year end reviews. Subscribed!
