Love your video! high quality content from your channel. Harry Potter Hogwarts Battle is my favorite idol. We will look into some of the 2player only games like lost cities, and patchwork those look great!
Great choices on both lists! My wife and I enjoy a lot of the games you mentioned in parts 1 and 2. We also like Azul, Smallworld, and Kingdom Builder at 2 players, and for a couple of quick games, Fox in the Forest, Santorini, Kingdomino and Love Letter. I also just ordered Fog of Love which looks promising.

Really good games (we own most of them) – I even think that the Harry Potter game looks interesting but JK Rowling will never ever see a single cent from me again.

Viticulture is me and my wife's favorite boardgame! Just wanted to add the the Tuscany expansion is an absolute must for it. It takes the game from very good to an all time great. Make sure to add that when you get the base game!
But honestly the best couple game is Smash up

Jaipur is one of my favourite games to play with my partner. We also enjoyed Azul and codenames duet. Bought Arkham horror lcg this week so looking forward to playing it with him. Your dog is so cute!
My husband keeps telling me that I'd really love Viticulture. Some day! We've played a lot of Res Arcana and Above and Below and a ton of Wingspan too. I could Wingspan every day. Combining all the cards and figuring out how to get to the goals and get everything you need is always a fun thing to think through. I'm with you on Patchwork's original art: the game is so good and puzzly, why are the colors so muddy? This version is definitely nicer!
Please do a part 3. I have learned so many cool and interesting games from you two

I own and love most of the games on this list. For the Hogwarts Battle fans, try the Toy Story reskin called Obstacles and Adventures. I started my collection (175+ and growing) with deckbuilding so Star Realms/Hero Realms is easy, compact and perfect for 2.

Spirit Island is one of those games that always pops to mind when people ask me what my favorite board game is. Everything about the game just feels beautifully and meticulously crafted and thought through. Love it!

My hubby got me The princess bride game from ravensburger games and I am in love, it’s perfect for one or two players. The artwork is fantastic and each page has new game mechanics. Lots of fun.
Subbed! Some people who smile more than me! Love the game recommendations, I actually just picked up Spirit Island today for my birthday and I cannot wait to dive into it!
My Girlfriend loves HP!! I convinced her to get the Hogwarts Battle game and she absolutely loves it! Her best friend and I got her both expansions for her birthday. We have tried only the monsters expansion so far. It is tough! Especially if we get some of the harder villains in our villain deck. We both wish that the starting playing cards for the expansions were different, considering it's meant to be played after beating all 7 years. I think we've beaten the first year once in the expansion. I've heard the potions expansion is a little easier, but we haven't gotten a chance to try it out yet!

I appreciate the videos! My wife and I are always struggling deciding what to do together especially when most of our board games are best suited for 3-4+ players. She loves the Egyptian theme, so I'm definitely getting her Ihmotep: the Duel for Christmas. Yes, make a part 3!

I need to pick up some of these. Me and my boyfriend are board game obsessed. Our favorite is Terraforming Mars. We own all the expansions and have played hundreds of rounds at this point 😅
