  1. Looking forward to next month's "MomenTim "

  2. It's about time! And welcome back Chaz! I though 'the man' put baby in the corner! 🙂

  3. I love these videos! Thanks for the fun content as always!

  4. This was hilarious, looking forward to seeing more content from Timmy Spangler! I think I saw paleo before in another preview and didn't think anything of it, but now I'm a little intrigued and might take another look.

No thoughts on the Ques10 since I don't use kickstarter and have limited experience with what products from it look like.

  5. I love the content of these videos, really interested in knowing what games are being talked about and more information about them. But I got to be honest, I'm really just not a fan of the humor.

  6. Great vid, gonna check out Dwellings of Eldervale now.

  7. I just listened to the audio. I couldn't take that shirt. It's like he's rubbing it in my face -Marty

  8. Not Momenten it's The Climbers! 😉😀

  9. Hire Timmy full time please, he can probably host too.

  10. My kickstarter experience with board games has been fairly positive. I think it is somewhat common to find some vagueness in the rulebook that probably would get resolved before going to standard retail. That would really be my only (very minor) complaint.

  11. Timmy has taught me that through hard work and determination you can accomplish anything 💪 Thanks Timmy! Keep up the great work!

  12. Pun Stories getting better and better xD

  13. Weird question: did Chaz recently do voice work for the latest episode of Yu-Gi-Oh The Abridged Series? Could've sworn I heard him as that kid in the blue jacket. Either way, very good video and congrats to Timmy on the promotion!

  14. I wouldn't worry about Timmy, Chaz you are my favorite host…because of your awesome beard.

  15. I have more faith in retail purchases and the exclusivity of Kickstarter and the way it weaponized FOMO legitimately bums me out. But also it has created some interesting games that later had retail releases

  16. The War Of The Ring online league Discord invite that's on the BGG thread has expired.

  17. That Timmy is so funny. Comedic genius. Great Video (that compliment goes to Timmy and ONLY Timmy).

  18. nice joke timmy, made me laugh, havent laughed in years …

  19. I’m a big fan of Alexander pfister but after 5 games of cloud age , I’m on the fence.
Not sure the replay value is there and it’s ultra light.

  20. Why hasn't there been a "Who's playing what now?" in months? 🙁

  21. Really like that Rodney/Mountie trading card. 👍🏻

  22. Another glorious day in the corps! A day in the Marine Corps is like a day on the farm. Every meal's a banquet! Every paycheck a fortune! Every formation a parade! I LOVE the corps!

  23. Good question. I think it's about 50/50 and depends on the publisher/designer combo. Trismegistus was a retail purchase and clearly has errors (perhaps every copy?) but shows some lack of attention to detail (though still a fun game). Viscounts was very nicely done and I love my Kickstarter copy. Tapestry had an error that was corrected with the expansion and I wouldn't be surprised if they sent the part to those who asked (technically not Kickstarter). I'm pretty picky about the games I kickstart and some look sort of 'beta' at times but lots of retailers will produce crap and sell it if there's a market. Regardless of the medium of sale it falls on us consumers to be discerning and only settle for quality products at reasonable prices.

  24. Kickstarter definitely encourages Beta copies. The deadlines that the companies put on their games encourage rushed production, unfinished copies, and rules with errors. When these things happen, it's too easy for the producers to shrug and say, "Well, it's just a kickstarter. We'll fix it when we sell it in retail."

  25. Rodney is the best board game tutorial person-a random person on YouTube

  26. Please inform Timmy that pterodactyls stopped soaring long before cavemen started roaming the earth. Besides, the word "dinosaur" wasn't even coined until 1841, which was a few years after cavemen, so how exactly did that "joke" even work? And cavemen didn't even speak English! Timmy needs to spend his time joke-writing doing schoolwork!

  27. It really depends. Most of the time, you have great games at a really decent price (while retail tends to highly increase the price). Sometimes, games have some issues, but that can still be manageable, and still at a lower price. And if you are unlucky, your KS product have some big issues, but that doesn't happens often.
I would say that if you want a perfect game, don't go to kickstarter and wait a few month after retail release to have an good overview of the game quality. Otherwise, I would say that kickstarter is a very nice way to get games faster than retail version, at a lower cost, with more (sometimes unbalance) content.
Beta games used to exist in retail when review and ranking wasn't popular (and still exist in some extend for some games).

  28. To be "Cirrus about" something was almost as good as that "time will Tellus". Good one Timmy!

  29. Don't stand for the sideline usurping, Chaz – the whole Spangler clan has been coasting for generations! FIGHT THE MACHINE!

  30. The question of “are kickstarter games more prone to underdevelopment “ : I would submit that SOME LARGE publishers would take the money and effort to polish and test games before retail release. And SOME KICKSTARTER publishers are taking the same care. It is a function of the market and industry institutions to publicize which are which.

  31. Amphibian Humorist is one of the best lines I have read in a while

  32. It will be a while until I make another attempt to get past the rulebook of Castles of Tuscany, but I'm glad some strides have been made.
    Thanks for the vid!

  33. Just can’t get that well deserved respect Chaz. Down with Timmy!

  34. I like how it’s momentum but there are ten of them.

  35. Both Alien games look so fun, I wish I had people to play it with. xD

  36. That Timmy is a real pro. I hope we'll hear more of his stuff in future episodes!

  37. You guys ever take a look at Far Away by Cherrypicked Games? Pretty awesome game from a company I've never heard of. I'm obsessed with this game!

  38. These board games look really cool, definitely going to the "Inspiration vids" because I also someday hope that my brainstormed board game idea comes true…

  39. Timmy is the best thing that's happened to WIP since Rodney first cracked open Mansions of Madness.

  40. Where may I find those Twilight Imperium stands to help hold the miniatur6e on a tile? Thank you in advance
