  1. I’ve got Merchants Cove at number 1 this year. I have played with all the characters except for the ‘secret’ one.
Did you guys know that FFG is releasing a new game next year (Bardwood Grove) with a new playable character for Merchants Cove? The Musician: he can sing songs at the different docks to gain gold.

  2. I want Overboss for Christmas! I was making Christmas Candy while I watched! A lot of great games – none that I own.😩

  3. Jeff your feeling rebellious at the start of this video! Get back in line boy! I note Oath is still there in the background. Sleeping Gods, great choice.

  4. Same Jamie I love sheepy time but I haven’t one yet!

  5. I love you guys so much! Great list..I'm so curious how games you haven't played yet (ahem Familiar Tales) measure up when you play. I also love Cubitos, and am interested in Sheepy Time cause of your love for it.

  6. Gaming tables are a must at some point. Definitely will get a good ROI on that. I have both Cubitos and Brew but need to play them still. Just picked them up from a local board game seller's market.

  7. HAHA no Jeff you’re WRONG! This list is a trash heap!!!!!! I’m the only one with the right list!

Haha complete joke above. I totally appreciate you both. And we actually have some overlap 🔥 I’ll be releasing mine soon! Also I like how Oath is right in between you the whole time!

  8. Great picks. Unfortunately, I didn't play any of the "top" releases this year so here is my Top5 plus an honorable mention
    1. Hadrian's Wall
    2. Cascadia
    3. TM: Ares Expedition
    4. Destinies
    5. 7 Wonders: Architects
    Honorable Mention: Juicy Fruits

  9. I also want a gaming table so much. Don't really know which games were released in 2021 that I played so can't tell which is my favourite.

  10. One thing I wasn't clear on: Is this your list?

If so, is it your list though?

  11. "These are our lists, don't get offended."
    {10 seconds later}
    Jeff: "Here's my #11 and #10"
    Jamie: "How DARE you??" 😅

  12. I’m embarrassed that I own 3 of these and still haven’t played them…. Overboss, Destinies and sleeping gods. Thanks for the video (and inspiration to get them to the table!)

  13. Great video! The only one I was surprised to see was destinies and the one I was surprise not to see was riftforce. I really am interested to see, when you’ve played Radlands…. Whether either of you would retrospectively add it in or not. Please report back and let us know!! Actually… while you’re at it… you could do the same when you’ve played merchants road! (You went all in at pax didn’t you, I’m sure you did!) x

  14. I’d also love to see you come up with a combined overall FTM official joined top 10. You’re prettyyyyy close but some differences !

  15. Fun video! I have some of these waiting under the tree. I can't wait to try them. 😁

  16. Nice list gotta try Brew after hearing you and Nauts talk about it so much! I only played a few games this year and in order these would be my faves:
    1. Kingdomino Origins
    2. Summer Camp
    3. Dice Throne
    4. Happy Little Dinosaurs

  17. Picked Savannah Park at PAX and it has become a favorite of my wife and kids. Great game… should have need No. 10… 😛

  18. I see Overboss has a similar tile selection process to Cascadia. To anyone who has played both, is Overboss superior to Cascadia?

  19. Both your top 10 games are totally expected haha! My top 10 for this year isnt in too much of an order:

    10. Who Goes there Second edition

    9. Oath

    8. Intrepid

    7. Anno 1800

    6. Arkham Horror

    5. Dinosaur Island Rawr n write

    4. Cascadia

    3. Glen more 2

    2. Dinosaur World

    1. Lost Ruins of Arnak

  20. THIS LIST is great but ive only played brew

  21. Great list, guys!! Currently my 2021 list stands at:
    5: Dive
    4: Land vs. Sea
    3: Cascadia
2: Iki (this is a cheat. It's a reprint, but I've never heard of it before this year.
    1: Shiver Me Timbers

  22. ugh…adding more games to the wish list, lol. You guys are our Top #1 pick for gameboarder…ers…to watch 😀

  23. Another great video my friends. This list reminds me of two things:
    1. That 2021 put out some great games
    2. There are still so many great games I haven’t played yet.

  24. We are in the same boat with you all and Sleeping God's, having bigger games we love but just want to leave setup so we can play then more ( Cthulhu Death May Die and Nemesis are a couple). You mentioned that you're buying a game table. Have you already picked out which one you'll go with? Or maybe it's a secret for a future video? 😀

  25. You two are so great together. Giggled when Jamie said “ rats” to your #5.🤣🤣

  26. Love your lists, especially Mind MGMT, my personal #1 game for 2021. SO FUN!! I need to try Cubitos and Sheepy Time.

  27. So did you two purchase a gaming table as a Christmas gift to each other?

  28. Great lists! There are a few crossovers with my list. I'm still trying to squeeze in plays of a few 2021 releases that have recently arrived, so I'm waiting until January for my video. As a fellow Roll Player fan, I'm sure you'll love Roll Player Adventures 🔥

  29. Great list. Love your channel. Topping my list this year we’re “Land vs Sea” and “Cascadia”. Phenomenal games at two players.

  30. Sleeping Gods is fantastic, but better kept on the table. You know what you need to do 😉

  31. Your list sucks, and this is why this game is better than this one.

  32. How did this hot mess of review work? Well it did omg too funny. Can’t imagine how it would be playing games with you guys.

  33. Hello Jamie and Jeff. I rediscovered your channel today, and love how it has matured since I visited last time. I especially liked your BGG top games series and the co-op games ranking video (maybe make that into a series too). Good luck. May good things happen.

  34. You will love RPA! I just got my copy and I started playing it. If Sleeping Gods is your number one, you will adore Roll Playing Adventures. You will definitely see the similarities, but the Roll Player story is amazing! Enjoy!!

  35. Destinies has nice components??? Literally the worst minis I own

  36. another super fun video. I see now I need to get Mind MGMT. I'm very curious to see how you land on a board gaming table. I built one with my brother and my dad. It was a great experience and I love it. Granted, it took space and tools and good plans, but man we had a great time doing the work.

  37. Little Big Thumbs - Board Games & More! says:

Loving the list! Merchant's Cove may very well had been at the top of my list if I had gotten to play more. And yay for Sheepy Time!

  38. Cubitos is definitely my favorite game of the year and probably in my top 10 of all time. The other one just delivered, but Uprising: Curse of the Last Emperor. Honestly haven’t played many games that released this year 😔

  39. Such a good list! I have a sneaking suspicion that my partner’s mom got us The Initiative for xmas, so I am very excited to try it!! Also really wanting to try sleeping gods but, like you, we have a little cat that will destroy any games left out so someday we may also invest in a board game table as well…

  40. I had to go look up Cubitos, of course, and gah-DANG! It's right in my wheelhouse.

  41. Are you guys doing a Top 10 games of all time this year as well?

  42. Good lists, but the cuts every other second are really really annoying and distracting.
