Board game based on a book series? No thanks!!
We like Castle Panic – Fireside Games. A simple tower defense game that can easily include the younger crowd.
If you like D&D – Dungeons and Dragons: Wrath of Ashardalon – Wizards of the Coast. This game scenarios and an auto-building map. There are more games in the series, but they were overly complex for our group.
Hey guys, I finally bought a copy Robin Hood… It's brilliant! Great recommendation! I have a question. No spoilers obvs, but we done chapter one. The guards we beat, do you physically flip the guard over.. do they come back into play when the hour glass is removed?
Was that a pepperwood reference i heard
Fun fact! The tales from the loop was filmed here in Winnipeg!
Now I need to play Stardew Valley! I've been playing The Adventures Of Robin Hood as of late, and I'm really enjoying it. My favorite cooperative game is Spirit Island. It can be fiddly, though.
Unsettled and Marvel United are my favorite Co-ops
Good list. Have you guys tried The Crew??
King of Monster Island is a fun co-op game that reminds me a bit of The Loop. I haven't played it a lot, but the plays I've had have all been enjoyable.
Beyond Baker Street (a Hanabi style co-op card game) and Journeys in Middle-Earth (if you’ve rated Mansions of Madness high you’ll love this LotR app-driven game too)
For a second, I thought Jamie spoke Dutch! Pompelmoes is the Dutch word for grapefruit 😋 and it sounds very similar to the French word.
Great recommendations. Tales from the loop really looks interesting and so does Stardew Valley but the 45 to 200 minutes on BGG scares me 😅
Amazing list guys! We adore The Loop together here 🙂
We are finally playing Stardew Valley for the first time this weekend 😀 (it's been on the shelf for nearly a year!) Hopefully we love it as much as you two do – after we have fought over having the cat or the dog to start, obviously 😂
Fun that a game from Free League is mentioned.
Scooby Doo the board game is great as well. We have started Familiar Tales.
You gotta try all the MoM expansions and last Bastion!
I got nothing to add ❤️ great video and I wanna try a lot of these.
Weird you do not like Aeon's End….
Stardew Valley! Doesn’t get enough love (the board game anyways, everyone loves the video game) it’s so great!
My wife and I love coop board games. And I was intrigued with some of your mentions. Our favorite is Aeons end. It can be brutal but if you plan out a good strategy you will manage and it is extremely satisfying. There are 4 core boxes, 2 legacy's and 1 big expansion. We have beating everything untill the second legacy witch we are currently playing. (We have liked the first legacy a bit more) but still I recomend you play the first legacy. I have a feeling you might like it.
I was going to ask about the Reckoners whether you have won yet? We have not 🙁 yet when I Google it so many people say, it's so easy! We even play it on the easy level!
We really like Endangered, Hogwarts Battle, Roll player adventures and Lands of Galyzr! We just started playing Robin Hood and my kiddo asked if it could be our every Friday game 🙂
Burgle Bros, Robinson Crusoe: Adventures on the Cursed Island, Sub Terra, and so many others
Ok Ok, I get it, DMD is #1 yet again.
Edit: I was wrong! Also wow, that Honorable Mention looks great; I've always wanted to try this game (The Reckoners).
Churchill the struggle for peace. Although its best with three players, Stalin, FDR and The British Prime Minister. You cooperate to beat the Axis in WW2, but want to get just high enough in points to win the game, If you win by too many points, another player wins.
No dungeon crawler?
Watched this video last night and then this morning I watched the Dragons Tomb video (hilarious) which was then automatically followed by this video again. It was like YouTube wanted me to catch the BooGrr reference 🤣👍
Great list. Two of our favorites is Black Orchestra and Freedom: The Underground Railroad
Reeeeally wanting to try Stardew Valley! It’s one I'm keeping an eye out for wherever I go since it’s out of stock online. I think my favorite co-ops (we don’t play many) are Horrified and Forgotten Waters.
My most enjoyable co-ops are definitely (not in any specific order)
Atlantis Rising
Dead of Winter
Eldritch Horror
Nemesis
Pandemic Legacy (Season 1)
Space Alert
No Robinson Crusoe?
My wife and I play only co-op games, and currently own a couple hundred I think. So our top 10 is actually our overall top 10 also.

Had a game night with my girlfriend’s friends and I brought Horrified. We had an awesome time.
Ma favorite cooperative game is Aeon's End. Castle Panic is a close second.
27:48 "There is this tiny tiny element of luck (in stardew valley, the board game)"
Lol, there is a HUGE amount of luck in that game, it's one of the main issues people bring up.
Thanks for introducing. You are good guys . Im a fan of board games . Im new . So it help to know better board games
Great Video. Definitely want to check some of those out.
Hogwarts battle is such a fun entry level game for people who would love to try a coop game for the first time. The theme is played out so well and it plays pretty smooth and fast. I play it with friends who are into the hobby as well, but also with my little nephews who are currently reading the books.
LOVE that game!
I never see Legends of Andor in any top 10, while it seems to be one of the most popular games in stores. Any idea why? Have you played it?
