  1. Aeon Trespass: Oddysey (AT:O) – blew my mind. Is a HEAVY game which prompts the amount of engagement and answer seeking as mentioned on the video. That aside, the story, introduction/tutorial and progression (city building/tech development/exploration/battles) manages to keep this game set up on the table to play at any time im free. The tutorial manages to introduce you bit by bit to the game mechanics, in a scenario like approach where you start doing battle, and then move on to large scale navigation and choose your own adventure. Truly exceptional game thus far.

  2. Ah board games, my life before I had a child…😂

  3. I have Ark Nova and Wingspan.
Like idea of weather machine. Never played any of the undaunted yet.

  4. Got play Cora Quest and we love it. Very good game that anyone can play. Next game playing is Dodos riding dinos hopefully tonight.

  5. I forgot say got play New York 1901. Our family seem to enjoy it.

  6. Played On the Underground. I had forgotten how much I liked it.

  7. Received Wayfarers of the South Tigris and been hammering in quite a few plays. Love how modular the game is because the dice worker placement spots are on the cards you play into your tableau. Its also very cool how you can double up any point card with constellation cards. I still have a good bit to learn on efficiently using the journal action though lol. Overall one of the best new games I have played all year. Looking forward to the next in the series.

  8. Immortality expansion for dune imperium was delivered, been playing nonstop, surprised that wasn't on the hot list!

  9. Love playing Haba Orchard when my baby girl was younger

  10. Mike is the best dad. Baby Murph is a lucky little lady. I have 3 girls (ages 9,6,3)

My most successful and most played introduction to board games for young kiddos (ages 3+) are:
    Sneaky Snacky Squirrels
    Race to the Treasure
    Hoot Owl Hoot
Outfoxed (maybe better around age 4)

It gets better the older they get. My spouse and I had a blast teaching Dice Miner to the 9 and 6 year old this weekend. We played like 4 games of it with them.

I can't wait until Mike is sharing his favorite games he is playing with his daughter.
