20:24 Wrap-up

  1. Looking forward to playing the ATL traffic card game. Hopefully their Kickstarter funds. That's a game I'd love to add to my collection.

  2. Jamey clarified during his live stream that the picture for Vantage isn't even the cover for it but he wanted to show some image. He has been working on it for 7 years.Super Mega Lucky Box has been so much fun on BGA.

  3. Not sure if it was mentioned in the comments but another thing that may have helped the Fallout rise is that two online retailers [GameNerdz and Detective Hawk] had the base game and co-op expansions as deals of the day and month respectively, massively marked down. I know it made me go look up the game on BGG. I'm sure that helped drive traffic to look the game up.

  4. Both Gamenerdz and Detective Hawk had sales on Fallout and were discussed in the Hot Deals forum. This might have contributed to the hotness factor, in addition to the TV series.

  5. Really liked you guys mentioning Star Wars Unlimited. I really enjoy this game. I'm a big fan of SW, plus this game's competitive play. Unfortunately I have a hard time winning. Still have lots of fun.

  6. Really enjoying The Lord of the Rings Adventure Book Game at the moment

  7. Def bc of the show, even the videos games got a resurgence, mtg also released a set based on fallout a few months ago

  8. Not a favourite game of the month, but we were super lucky to find a copy of Pagoda at a used-game market last Saturday! Very excited to get it to the table 🎉

Also, finally gave Apiary a try at last weekend’s game weekend. Really liked the different way of using workers — super fun!

  9. Games I played this month are Coffee Rush, Planted, Junk Drawer, and Canopy.

  10. ive got a playthrough of Harmonies tomorrow and I love the vibe of it! There's a couple of niggles in terms of components, but yeah its aiming to be a Cascadia Killer!

  11. Ha! I was curious if fallout stayed on the hotness long enough. It was sitting at 1 for a few days.

  12. For April gaming, I played almost nothing but ISS Vanguard. Did single-wave shipping for the crowdfunding campaign so just recently got my stuff and played through the entire base game campaign, started 6 April, finished 28 April. Had some issues with the game (a lot of luck and some really weird choose-your-own-adventure red herring stuff), but overall was a lot of fun! Going to be a while until I crack open the expansion campaigns though. Need to take a break and play some other games.

  13. There should be separate logging for plays digital vs physical. It would be much more interesting to see those lists split up.

  14. I was introduced to Trickerion this month. I got destroyed butit was very memorable, and it has stuck with me unlike some games that exit my brain right after they finish. Next time with the Academy expansion!

  15. I wasnt going to be a sheep and jump on the Ark Nova bandwagon but er yes turns out Ark Nova is bloody brilliant.

  16. Y’all are by far my FAVORITE YouTube board game channel! Love seeing your videos roll in. 💕

  17. Oh wow, thanks for mentioning Board Game Day! Glad you like it!!

  18. Uk games expo….I am going 😊🎉❤
