  1. Top 50 Games of ALL-TIME! What are your predictions for the rest of the list? Will either of the #1's from last year change? What's Dylann's new game in the Top 10?

  2. Great work guys! Love your content, love your lists.

  3. Lol who the F plays board games in 2023! Lol.

  4. So excited to follow along with y'all! Lots of great games on this list.

I appreciate your justification for Just One, I just did my top 50 for myself and feel like Just One was lower than it deserves to be.

  5. Looking forward to seeing the next vid! Feel the same on Quacks, enjoy when it hits the table but we didn't play it much in the last year.

  6. Have you tried Oceans from the Evolution series? And if so would you recommend it out of the 3? Thanks!😊

  7. Good stuff guys. Chemistry and unscripted humor is what puts your content above most. Thanks.

  8. The fact that LOTR The Confrontation made this list fills us with so much joy!!!! Love it!!!

  9. Petition to get 'The Fellowship of the Ring' renamed to 'Frodo and the Gang'

  10. Wooooooooooo!!! That time of the year! Glad to have this updated list to see what I might want to pick with Christmas money. Always love hearing you guys talk about how your opinions on games have changed over time.

  11. You guys are awesome!
Will you be doing a review of flame craft?

  12. " I played a bunch of codenames duet this year" + "I usually just play codenames duet in dates" = Dylan got lots of dates in 2022! 🙂

  13. Oh yeah!!!!! 🎉 So pumped for this! Thanks guys!

  14. Heyyyy, much warmer lighting, finally 😁
    Congrats on the warm upgrade!

  15. Rise of Ix is essential for Dune! It changes the economy of the game and makes less used tracks more interesting.

  16. Haha laughing at the fact that you don't know their names (The hobbits and their pals and…what did you say – the evil ones?) because I've recorded a podcast episode where I stumbled my way forward similarly, and felt embarrased that I couldn't recall such a basic fact (like I've read parts of the first book when I was 10 and I've seen the movies several times…like how do I not know this??)

  17. Interesting. 🤔🤔🤔

Can't wait to see the rest of the lists.

  18. I've recently picked up the folded space insert for quacks. It'd only 20 Canuck Bucks and greatly speeds up set up and tear down.

  19. Another great video – made all the better with the sprinkling of humor (especially, circa minute 19).
When you mentioned Mandala – it reminded me of how I have doubled-up certain games I have for use as another – maybe this could be a future video topic for you?
Here are some of my "doubled-up" ideas, off the top of my head:
    1) Mandala played with Skip-Bo cards. Using the three colors of blue, green and red, subdivided into odd and even – this can be a proxy for six Mandala suits with sufficient card count.
    2) Enchanted Plumes played with the Ohanami deck.
Using cards 10-109 only, the last digit signifies the rank (0-9) and the preceding value (1-10) references the suit.
    3) Sequoia (SQ) used to play hard-to-find Rumble Nation (RN).
SQ's square tiles can be randomized to create the RN "board" (tiles touch for land borders and are placed a little apart for the sea), while the SQ circular scoring tokens can be used as VPs in RN. The SQ "while leaves" can be reserved for RN's "cascading element".
Such shenanigans reduce cost, is legal and enhances shelf space.
What do you think – can you pitch others?

  20. The best game on either list is LOTR: The Confrontation. In contention for my personal Top 10. An amazing 2p game!

  21. Sorry guys, but you have no right to declare what the best games of all time are. Do you have no shame?

  22. You two get a long well playing games together, or you mostly have your own groups?

  23. One of the hardest things about top 50 lists is nostalgia. Okay, so you remember fond memories of the game…okay, so you haven't played it as much recently…but objectively is it a BETTER GAME than other games by design? Tough thing to answer. Essential for those of you not sitting in your living room though…

  24. New social deduction game:
At what point in the video do they run out of whatever's in their mugs, but they're still acting like they're drinking something out of the empty mug? 🙂

  25. Thanks for the video, friends! I also recently did a PubMeeple of all my played games, so I’ll show you the ranks of any game you’ve mentioned that I’ve tried, and how much it changed from my ranking in August (61 new games on the list, so not surprising if a ranking goes down)!

    #252. My City (-33)
    #144. Codenames (incl. Duet) (-52)
    #279. The Mind (-112)
    #124. Dune Imperium (-86)
    #127. Terraforming Mars (-62)
    #217. Just One (-29)
    #224. Cascadia (-32)
    #233. Wavelength (-35)
#43. The Quacks of Quedlinburg (-27)
    #161. Azul (-32)
