  1. Mist game that is cooperative that is hard to win may not be so good for beginners. I'd pick horrified, forbidden Island or desert.

  2. You have an amazing energy! thank you for your videos!

  3. Even as a channel that plays lots of games, I got some GREAT recommendations I've not seen before from this! Great video. Pyramido & Bonsai both look like a lot of fun.

  4. what an awesome and frankly unique list. So many games on here I want to try but haven't had the chance to yet!

  5. Hey Danny, congrats for the shout on Rahdo’s channel, well deserved. I’m still in two minds about White Castle, I was wondering if chasing all the combos would get to seem a little hectic, and I’m not sure if my missus will find it too abstracted, although she loves Red Cathedral. We live on the Canary Islands so many games don’t ever get here, however, Devir do quick distribution so WC might be easy to get later if I don’t get it now…. Very frustrating, the availability! Hoping that I can order Ra before Xmas but I doubt it….can take up to six weeks to arrive from the mainland! 😠 cheers Glenn

  6. Although maybe not fitting thematically, Horrified always seems to hit. For quick games in smaller packages, No Thanks! Is hard to beat. Cat in the Box is a lovely, little head scratcher for card game enthusiasts. Getting slightly bigger, Combo Fighter is unreasonably fun for being rock, paper, scissors. IceCool is great if you just want to fool around. Dungeon Fighter 2e if you are serious about fooling around. And special shout out to Scape Goat. The game that is the best at delivering the sense of paranoia wrapped up in a punny back story.

  7. Namiji and Dorfromantik are aesthetically pleasing (because I know Danny loves a pretty game) and easy entry for new players but still satisfying for seasoned gamers.

  8. What is the beautiful looking game shown at the start of the video please? With hexagons of blue, yellow, and green, and stunning wooden jungle animals, and a card called "froglets". I was so excited to learn what this game was but then the video never showed it! =(

  9. My go to game for a gift is High Society. Lovely little box, great art, cheap (like me) and a fantastic, easy game that is a lot of fun to play.
For something a bit bigger with more table presence that will still hopefully provide a lot of approachable, easy fun for Christmas and beyond – Wavelength or Quacks of Quedlinburg

  10. G'day friends
Yes Its an EARLY XMAS video! Considering deciding, shipping, ordering and the busy shopping period can be a bit stressful and takes a LOT of TIME 🙂
I hope this video makes choosing a game this christmas for you a little lighter and easier.
What are your favourite games to gift and give. I always think we shouldn't shy away from the classic games or ones that have been popular in the past which is why I've got links to my past xmas gift idea video in the description box.
