Rally your supporters and get prepared for battle…. over a cup of tea? Well, this is no regular tea party, you’re at the Mad Hatter’s table and it’s time to make your preparations for war!! Will you fill your bag with all of the best goodies and risk more madness? Or will you gather more quests and Wonderlandians to help your cause? Either way, you better hope luck is on your side on the battlefield – will you hold your position and hope for at least second place, or risk everything to win it all???

Thanks for stopping by for our review of Wonderland’s War! We’re Amy & Maggie aka ThinkerThemer. We’re an Australian couple with two very different perspectives of what makes a great board game – Amy (Thinker) is all about the mechanics and enjoys tight, competitive games, and Maggie (Themer) is all about the storytelling and the theme of the game, and the ‘world’ that the designer is trying to create. Subscribe to our channel to hear us talk about these two elements of a game, and how well integrated we feel these are in delivering a cohesive and wonderful game experience.

  1. I have this game on order from The Game Steward. Can't wait to get it but not knowing when it will arrive is killing me. Ready to dive into the rabbit hole.

  2. Hi, abit late to this but was just wondering how you guys are still finding this game 9 months later? I only play 2 player games with my partner, is it still something you would recommend at that player count? TIA.

  3. Seeing this video come up on my feed again and Maggie's facial expression is fabulously hilarious lol. Also, gotta grab some Tim Tams with a Cuppa 😉. This games probably the one I WISH so hard had a solo mode but obviously would never work quite as well… a girl can dream. Plus I love Alice in Wonderland.

  4. I’m glad you like this game! The makers of the game live close to me. There was a board game event at the Oregon Museum of Science and Industry that they came to, and I bought a couple of their games at that event. They were really nice, and offered a great lecture talking about their experience making board games and tips for others. So far this one seems to be getting the best reviews of all of their games to date! I also like their Grimm game (the cards look fairly similar to these, and it also has super cute miniatures). This one looks pretty epic!

  5. "Me bag" LOL 🤣 I split my sides from laughing so hard! I'm so glad you didn't edit that out. It's actually what kept me watching! I think this is the third (?) review video I stumbled on – I didn't bother finishing the other ones. What brought me to your channel you ask? 😉 I recently bought the deluxe edition and wanted to watch a review and a bit of a walkthrough. The two of you did a great job at that. 👌👍 Love your chemistry and unique perspectives. Now I'm curious to see what other videos you've got. 🤩

  6. Mi bag! 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣

  7. ❤️the wall of postcards (and this was a great review)

  8. Thanks for the review! Do you reckon an experienced Quacks player would crush everyone else?

  9. Such a fun review. I have this out on my table now trying to learn the ins and outs of the game. I loved your thoughts on Wonderland's War. Thanks for doing this for us.
